Joseph Dubois, veuf de Marie Anne Pincourt, se remarie le 24 juillet 1747 à Champlain avec Geneviève Aillot, fille de feu Jean Baptiste Aillot et de Catherine St-Amant.[2][3]

- Marie Madeleine Dubois, née 8 septembre 1748, ondoyée, bapt. suppléé 13 octobre Champlain[4]
- Joseph Dubois, baptisé 17 février 1753 Champlain (sa mère nommée Catherine sur l'acte)[5]
- Pierre Dubois, baptisé 25 octobre 1757 Champlain[6]
- Geneviève Dubois, née 1er février 1760 bapt. 4 Bécancour [7]
On ne sait pas si ces enfants décèdent en bas âge ou non, aucune trace de sépulture ni mariage n'a été identifiée pour eux avec certitude. Un acte de sépulture possible a été identifié pour Madeleine en 1772 à Champlain, on lui donne alors 26/27 ans. Aucune famille nommée, ce qui est le cas de beaucoup des actes de sépultures de Champlain d'alors.
Geneviève Ayot is buried on 1 June 1770 in Champlain, at the age of about 48 years per the record.[8]
