Peter Aindow and Harriet Townley married in 1860 at Manchester, Lancashire. [2]
In 1871 they had three sons, and lived at 154 Cobden Street, Manchester St Phillis. Their sons were Richard (10), George (4) and Peter (9months).[3]
In 1881 they lived at Greenfield Lane, Litherland, West Derby, Lancashire. Peter is a Tanners Labourer. Living with them are their children George (14), MaryAnn (7), and Harriet (3). [4]
In 1891 Peter was a Watchman. He lived with his wife and daughters Mary Ann and Harriet at 7 Phelps Street, Litherland, West Derby, Lancashire[5]
In 1901 Peter and Harriet lived at Hanken Street, Liverpool. Their daughter Harriet is living with them. Ethel Aindow (3) and Roy Aindow (1) are listed on the census as a daughter and son, but they are actually the children of their daughter Harriet. Edward Blackburn is boarding with the family.[6]
in 1911 Peter is a widower. Living with him at 39, Stour Street, Kirkdale, Liverpool is his daughter Harriet and her husband Joseph William Clark and their family.[7]
The date of Peter's death has not been found.
