At the church of St. John the Evangelist, Rappville, the marriage was celebrated of Irma Marie, daughter of Mr. Charles Ainsworth, and the late Mrs. Ainsworth, was married to Owen Ludwig, son of Mr. and Mrs. Owen Cawley, of Alstonville. The rector of the parish, the Rev. F. A. G. Woodger officiated. Mrs. R. Sweeney presided at the organ. The church was decorated with flowers, greenery and white streamers, by friends of the bride, who for a number of years lived in the district. The bride, who entered the church on the arm of her brother-in-law, Mr. V. C. Lollback, Busby's Mat, who subsequently gave her away, wore a frock of light blue maroeain and carried a bouquet of white roses and ferns, She was attended by her sister Mrs. V. C. Lollback, who was gowned in a light grey ensemble and carried a bouquet of dark roses and ferns. Mr. J. Cawley, brother of the bridegroom, was best man. During' the ceremony the hymn "How welcome was the Call. As the bridal party left the church, after signing the register the "Wedding March'; was played. Afterwards the party motored to the Commercial Hotel, Rappville, where a quiet wedding breakfast was held, at which the customary toasts were duly honoured. Mr. and Airs. Cawley were the recipients of many beautiful presents as well as felicitations for their future happiness. They left by car for Casino en route by car for Brisbane where the honeymoon was spent. Their future home will be at Ballina. girl friends.
