Ivie Aird was born in Scotland.
Ivie or Evie Aird (1837–?) was the son (not daughter) of James Aird (abt.1797–1869) and his wife, Mary Aitken (1800–1883). He was born on 27 August 1837,[1] and was baptised in the Ayrshire parish of Sorn on 7 October 1837.[2]
