I have various versions of my tree online at MyHeritage.com, FamilySearch and offline on my home computer, using Legacy 8. I try to verify my records as far as I can. I also am trying to stick to blood relatives to maintain a manageable workload. I have been researching, on and off, since 1980. Always looking for a new gateway!

DNA at WikiTree provides a visual way for you to find others who have tested and have the potential of having common ancestors. To get the best results, you need to start with yourself and add sourced profiles for your ancestors until you can connect to existing profiles in WikiTree. The more branches you are able to add the greater the likelihood of finding potential cousins to match with. 24 hours later, your test will have populated on the profiles of your ancestors and their descendants, where others with potential matches may also appear. The process of identifying which branch elements of DNA relate to will better enable you to find matches which relate to the particular branches you are researching.
