Delilah Ake was born about March, 1874 in Posey Township, Switzerland, Indiana, United States, daughter of James Henry Ake (1841–1881) and Martha Elizabeth Bradley (1839–1908).^[1] Delilah married Joseph Richard Gurley (born on March 6, 1864 in Patriot, Switzerland, USA; son of Jason Gordon Gurley and Hannah H. Bayne).In the 1880 census De Lela Ake (age 6) was the daughter of James H. Ake in Posey Township, Switzerland, Indiana, United States.^[2] Delilah Ake married Richard Gurley on 11 May 1894 in Ohio, Indiana, United States.^[3] In the 1900 census Delilah Gurley (age 26) was the married daughter of Martha Ake in Posey Township, Switzerland, Indiana, United States.^[4] Delilah Ake Gurley died on 15 Jul 1900 and was buried in Rising Sun, Ohio, Indiana, United States.^[5]
