Biography

W.J.R. Akeroyd was born in Dresden.

He served in World War I as a captain in the dental corps, serving in France. He was a dentist in El Paso, Texas, for 23 years.

James was married to Laura. They had a daughter Margaret and sons Richard and Edward.

James died 23 October 1945 at his home in El Paso. Burial was at Fort Bliss National Cemetery.[1]
