Sarah was born in Kentucky in 1849, the daughter of Austin Akers and Mary J. Klein.[1] She married Robert N. Benefiel in Illinois in 1867.[2] Sarah passed away in Illinois in 1924[3] and is buried in Shelbyville, Illinois.[4]
