Biography

Charles E Akers was born on 1 February 1856 at Indiana to his parents Willis Pierson Akers and Nancy A Pearson. He married Elizabeth Lane, daughter of Charles Lane and Katherine Gott on 7 October 1882 at Indiana. They had the following children: Taylor Akers, William Akers, Lula Mae Akers, Hazel Catherine Akers, Ralph Allen Akers, Myrtle M Akers, Orvel Akers, Earl A. Akers, Floyd Akers, Clyde A. Akers. He died on October 1935 at Oklahoma City, Oklahoma and is buried at Union Cemetery, Pawnee, Pawnee, Oklahoma.[1]
