Biography

Edward Akhurst was born in the quarter ending June 1844 in Brasted, Kent, England. His parents were William Akhurst and Eliza (Wood) Akhurst,

I cannot find him or his family in the 1861 census nor the 1901 census. This family seems to avoid the censuses.

Edward married Sarah Quinnell on the 24 August 1874 in Sevenoaks, Kent. I cannot find any children of the marriage.

Edward died aged 76 in the September quarter of 1922 in the Sevenoaks registration district.
