Andrew Charles Akhurst was born on 07 May 1863[1] in Wollombi, New South Wales, Australia as the second child of Frederick William Joseph Akhurst and Sarah Fernance. He had ten siblings, namely: Sarah Jane, Isabella Mary, Frederick Joseph, Jessie Eliza, William Edward, John Anthony, Matthew Pearson, Walter Prosper, Archibald Hamilton, and Richard Macquarie. He died on 23 Jan 1919[2] in Gosford, New South Wales, Australia.
