Thomas Akin was born 3 May 1743 in (probably Perth Amboy) New Jersey.[1][2] He was the son of Thomas and Abigail Akin formerly of Dartmouth and now residents at Nova Scotia.[3]
He married Rebecca Russell, daughter of Timothy and Robe Russell of Dartmouth, on 29d 4m 1767 [29 Apr 1767].[3][4]
Thomas died 7 October 1822 in South Yarmouth, Massachusetts.[1]
