According to the 1860 census for Sugar Leaf Township in Marion County, Ark it shows the son John being born in 1850 in Tennessee and the daughter Eliza being born in Arkansas 2 years later.. therefore it can be assumed that John Hensley's family moved from Tennessee sometime between 1850 and 1852.
