Bulloch Co GA Amos' father-in-law Greenberry Barnes built a large millpond and gristmill in 1883 (upper Mill Creek)[2]. He left it to his sons (to run and take care of his widow and sister with) when he died but by 1910 Amos and Maggie owned it. They advertised a large party there in the newspaper.
