Brit Kolbeinsdatter Aklestad was baptized on 8 Feb 1750 in Hjørundfjord. She was the daughter of Kolbein Olsen and Anne Erichsdatter.[1] Her confirmation was on 25 Oct 1767.[2]
She married her husband Ole Jonsen Øye on 2 Jul 1775 in Hjørundfjord when she was 25 years old.[3] They made their home at Øye farm and had 5 daughters together:
She passed away before her probate registration on 30 Apr 1787. Listed in the probate were her husband, Ole Jonsen, and daughters Oline Olsdatter (age 10), Klare Olsdatter (age 8), Anne Olsdatter (age 5), and Johanne Olsdatter (age 3).[4]
