Konstanty was born in Bulgaria* in 1893. Along the way he would migrate to America, say goodbye to his brother forever, work as a boardinghouse boss, marry Milka Eneff, build his own house, and have five children, including two that did not reach adulthood.
He passed away in Massachusetts in 1984.
It is noted on his WWII Draft Card that his birthplace is “Brickovce,” [2] Bulgaria. There is no such place currently, nor historically. The closest in sound and spelling is Berkovitsa.
