Biography

Ellery was born Jan 6, 1832 in Langdon, New Hampshire. He was son of Christopher Columbus Albee and Phebe (Wilson) Albee.[1][2]

He was the husband of Persus Eames who is considered the world's first Avon Lady. They were married in 1866. Ellery was an attorney and New Hampshire State Senator living in Winchester, New Hampshire. At that time Persis lived in Williamsburg, New York. Soon after marriage they moved to Winchester.

They had a son, Ellery, born in 1870 and a daughter, Ellen, born in 1873.
