Eleazer Albee was born about 1718, based on an expected age of 25 at marriage. However, SAR Application gives his birth as 1723,[1] in Mendon, Worcester, Massachusetts Bay Colony, possibly a son of Benjamin Albee (~1672– ) and Abiel Wheelock (~1676–~1722).

Eleazer Albee also may be the father of Bulah Albee, born out of wedlock to Bethiah Woodward.[4]
Eleazer died in 1808 in Massachusetts, United States, aged 84.[1]

It appears that this is the same Eleazer Albee who married Mercy Shippee, but it is not proven. Benjamin is the assumed father based on the location and timing, and lack of other possible parents[5]
There is also a marriage record of Eleazor Albee and Mary {Mercy} Shippee or Shipper on 30 Jul 1743 Uxbridge, Worcester, Massachusetts[6][7] - So which is correct???
Eleazer possibly married Dinah Hastings after the death of Mercy.
There is a land transaction in 1794 Cayuga Co, NY between Jeremiah Van Rensselaer (Grantor) and Eleazer Albee (Grantee), vol HA, page 101.[8] (I couldn't figure out where vol HA was. Cole-12288 17:37, 23 February 2023 (UTC) )
