The 1870 Federal Census listed George as living with Martha Smith in New Orleans, Orleans, Louisiana. His occupation was listed as ____ clerk. [6]
George Albert married Anna Agnes "Annie" Lassner (daughter of I or J Lassner and C. ...) on September 8, 1870 in New Orleans, Orleans, Louisiana by the Rev. John H. Hollander. His sister Magdalena was one of the witnesses. E. Dittmann was the other. [7]

The 1915 New Orleans City Directory listed George as a watchman and living at 2135 Josephine Street in New Orleans. [13]
