Michael was probably born about 1739. In 1769, when he would have been over the age of 18, he married Elizabeth Gorgeren in Philadelphia County (now Montgomery County), Pennsylvania.[1] Michael and Elizabeth had the following children baptized at the New Hanover Lutheran Church:[2]
