Biography

Also known as Magadelena. Daughter of Johannes Albrecht and Anna Gossauer. Wife of Philip Faust married circa 1836 Berks County, Pennsylvania.

Her tombstone reads, "This is the resting place of Magdalena Faust b. 1716, d. 1789. Age 73 years, 6 months, and three days. She lived in marriage 48 years. Produced 10 children, of which 8 are yet living namely, 4 sons and 4 daughters."

Magdalen's (Mary) name was written as Matelina in the ship's list of Johannes Albrecht's children.[1]. [2]
