HI, I see you are working on merges, you may want to review Merging FAQs to understand your responsibilities in doing merges. Remember, after the merge you will want to clean up the text. During a merge, the text from the merged-away profile is simply appended onto the end of the text of the merged-into profile. You will want to integrate it into a single biography and a single sources section. Thanks so much for helping improve Wikitree! If you have any questions, just let me know.

Craig, you recently created 12 profiles for children of William McGowan-2240, then immediately orphaned them. As you orphaned those profiles, it appears you don't intend to maintain or research those profiles. Reminder: wikitree values accuracy, sources, and collaboration (Honor Code.)

In the profiles, you cited an 1860 census, and labeled birth years as "exact." Except in 1900, US censuses list a person's age, often inaccurate. Suggestion: indicate the birth year as "uncertain," or do research to support the data. E.g., McGowan-2240 has a source and images for a family bible, added just the day before you created the profiles. That source has names/birth dates for the profiles.
