Biography

John Albright was born in 1775 in the area that is now Campbell, Tennessee, the son of John. He married Sarah Phillips (1785-1850) on September 1, 1807 in Rockbridge, VA[1] and they had nine children:

  • Elizabeth Albright (1808–1846)
  • William Albright (1810–1863)
  • Mary "Polly" Albright (1813–)
  • Sarah "Sallie" Ann Albright (1815–1880)
  • James Monroe Albright (1818–)
  • John Jackson Albright (1820–1870)
  • Jacob P. Albright (1822–1885)
  • Arabella Albright (1824–1851)

He died on June 22, 1827, in Montgomery, Tennessee, at the age of 52.
