Biography

1776 Project
Private John Albright Sr. served with North Carolina Militia during the American Revolution.
Daughters of the American Revolution
John Albright Sr. is a DAR Patriot Ancestor, A000982.

Parents: Ludwig Albrecht and Anna Maria Keller. Marriage 1751

John Ludwig Albright (1761-1816) enlisted in 1782 at the age of twenty-one years serving in the North Carolina troops and was discharged by the Commander-in-Chief at the close of the war. DAR|ancestor=A000982

He left the Guilford County, North Carolina homestead about 1805 for Haywood County, in western Tennessee, and later moved to Mississippi.

He died in Orange County, North Carolina.[1]

Albright, Ludwick & Mary Troxler married 1 April 1784 by Thos. Mulholley. [2] From the tombstone at St. Paul's Church, near Almance Post Office, we get the following.

On February 24, 1787, she was buried with her second child in her arms.
