Wm. Albright, died at the home of his daughter, Mrs. Marcellus Pell, last Sunday afternoon, aged 83 years. He had been living with his daughter for some time and only a few days ago he was taken sick, but it was not thought he was very serious until last Saturday and Sunday. The deceased is survived by four sons, L. M. Jay, Smith and John, and two daughter [sic], Mrs. Marcellus Pell and Mrs. Zell Thompson. The funeral was held Tuesday, from the home of Mr. Pell by the Rev. J. H. Hess and interment was made in the in the [sic] Kingwood cemetery.

The venerable William Albright, father of L. M. Albright, and Mrs. M. F. Pell, died at the home of his daughter, out near Pleasant Dale, Sunday of this week and was burried [sic] in the Kingwood Cemetery Tuesday about noon. The deceased was about 83 years of age and was well known throught [sic] the county. He was married twice and raised a family of children by both wives, Mrs. John Gidley of this place being by the second wife. Two sons, John and Smith, by the first wife, live at Mt. Pleasant, Pa., and Jay lives at Stafford, Kansas.

“He is buried in the Maplewood Cemetery, Kingwood, Preston County, WV.
