Biography
Dorothy Albritton Keen, 86, Lake Placid and formerly of Arcadia, died Sept. 21, 2003. She was born April 3, 1917, in Wauchula and lived most of her life in Arcadia before moving to Lake Placid 11 years ago.
She was a hospital nurse's aide. She attended LaBelle Church of God.
Survivors include her husband, Wilbur L. "Buck"; a daughter, Grace Youmans of Lake Placid; sons Edward Walker of Arcadia, Clarence Walker of LaBelle, and Quiness Walker of Punta Gorda; 23 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; and seven great-great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be from 6-8pm tonight at Ponger-Kays-Grady Funeral Home, Arcadia. Graveside services will be at 11am Thursday at Oak Ridge Cemetery in Arcadia. Published in Herald Tribune on Sept. 24, 2003.
