Biography

Elzylie was born in 1886. She was the daughter of Jessie Howell Albritton (1859–1945) and Anna Henry Albritton (1869–1937) and is listed in their household on the 1900 Census[1] and on the 1910 Census in Union Parish, Louisiana.[2] She was the second wife of John Emmett Long and is listed with him on both: the 1930 Census[3] and the 1940 Census.[4] She passed away in 1965 at the age of 79 and is buried in Holmesville Baptist Church Cemetery in Union Parish, Louisiana.[5]
