It may be possible to confirm family relationships with Susanna by comparing test results with other carriers of her mitochondrial DNA.
However, there are no known mtDNA test-takers in her direct maternal line.
It is likely that these autosomal DNA test-takers will share DNA with Susanna:
Thomas - I'm researching the family of Waite Albro, son of Samuel and Patience (Bull) Albro. Waite was born in Dutchess County, New York about 1781. According to "The Settlers of the Beekman Patent," your Susanna (Albro) Austin might be a sister of Waite (also called Hannah), but the author doesn't cite his reasoning for this conclusion. I'm just curious whether any of Susanna's children's records mention anything about Dutchess County or their mother's place of birth. I see that Silas Austin was living in Beekman in the 1790/1800 censuses, and Beekman is where Waite Albro and his parents and siblings lived.
