Biography

Lylinias (Albury) Russell is part of a Bahamian family.

Lylinias Albury was born 2 June 1881 in Cherokee Sound, Abaco to William Eldridge Albury and Priscilla Jane Key Albury.

She married Joseph Newton Russell, son of David Calvin Russell Sr. and Susan Mary Roberts Russell, 3 March 1897, at Hope Town, Abaco. Joseph and Lylinias Russell were the parents of Susan Vienna Priscilla Russell, John Eldridge Newton Russell, and a daughter - Ellier Geneva Russell - born 14 December 1902.

Lylinias Albury Russell died in childbirth, 15 December 1902, in Marsh Harbour, Abaco, at 21 years of age. Her newborn daughter, died of lockjaw at 12 days of age.
