Benjamin Albury was a farmer of Man-O-War Cay, Abaco. ... He passed away in 1865. [3]
"A sailing vessel from Harbour Island was wrecked on the reef. The crew made it ashore to Man-O-War. The mate of the vessel was a sixteen year old boy named Benjamin Albury, son from Harbour Island, Eleuthera. Eleanor was thirteen and Benjamin was 16. They fell in love at first sight. Benjamin stayed here while the rest of crew returned to Harbour Island. Benjamin, later known as Pappy Ben and Eleanor, Mammy Nellie married about a year later.[4]
