In 1900 Phoebe and Richard celebrated their 25th wedding anniversary. This notice was published
STEAR - ALBURY - July 8, 1875, at Gulgong, by the Rev. B. J. Meek, Richard Stear, to Phoebe Albury, both of Gulgong, now of Bowning, N. S. Wales.[3]
A similar notice was published for their 50th wedding anniversary. They were living at Wynton, 74 Cook Road, Centennial Park. [4]
Phoebe died at her home on the 13 February 1926. [5][6]
Her death notice does not name the children who died earlier.
STEAR - February 13, 1926, at her late residence, Wynton, 74 Cook-road, Centennial Park, Phoebe, beloved wife of Richard Stear, late of Bowning and Gulgong, beloved mother of N. J. Stear, Mrs. A. C. Crago, Mrs. J. Wells, Mrs. P. Jackson, Mrs. F. Killick, Mrs. R. K. Perrett, and Mrs. A. V. Southwell, aged 76 years.[7]
She was buried on the 15 February at the Waverley Cemetery. [8]
