Biography

Philip Sydney Irwin Albury was born in Miami, Florida in 1918 to Joseph Leonard Albury and Mary Olive "Mamie" Millard Albury.

He married Ruth Bass, daughter of Roy and Margaret Bass, 15 March 1938 in Broward County, Florida. The couple had children Jenny Sue, Ramona, Diane, Melody, and Philip Albury, Jr.

Philip Albury was a first lieutenant in the infantry in World War II and later served in the Florida National Guard.

Philip Albury had a career in banking and worked at several Miami banks - at his death in 1966 he was executive vice president and liquidating officer of Five Points National Bank. He passed away 5 March 1966 at 47 years of age.
