Richard Albury is part of a Bahamian family.

Richard was born about 1845 in the Bahamas.

He married Sarah Ann Thompson around 1866. The Dolly Mae lists the following as their children:[1]

  • Albury, Sarah Avice, b. 15 Feb 1873, Hope Town, Abaco, Bahamas
  • Albury, Thomas Eldridge, b. 11 May 1875, Hope Town, Abaco, Bahamas
  • Albury, Blanchetta Rose, b. 9 Sep 1879, Hope Town, Abaco, Bahamas
  • Albury, Benjamin, b. 14 Mar 1882, Hope Town, Abaco, Bahamas

By 1900, they were living in Key West, Monroe County, Florida.[2] The household included:
