Biography
Rebecca was baptised at St Michael's Church, Offham on 9th Feb 1845.
Her parents where: Father: Jesse Alchin, born March 1810 in Ryarsh, Kent. Mother: Ann (Alchin) born 1810 in Trosley, Kent. They married 15th Feb 1831 in Trottiscliff, Kent.
In the 1851 and 1861 cencus Rebecca was living with her family at Mayhill, Offham.
Rebecca Married Henry Hartnup in Birling on March 1866.
They had two daughters, Clara Hartnup born 1870 and Sarah Ann born 1873.
Rebecca died during child birth aged 27 years in 1873 and was buried at Birling, Kent on 23rd July 1873[1]
