Charlotte married William Gurney at Wingrave on 9 June 1851. Her name on this occasion was recorded as Charlotte Allcock, daughter of Charles Allcock.
Research Notes
Earlier in 1851 she was recorded as Charlotte Alcock (Al, not All), as were her brother, Henry Alcock and his family. Back in the 1841 census, the family name was recorded, erroneously or otherwise, as Cock. From 1861 onwards the family name was always recorded in censuses as Alcock.
Charlotte did not appear in the 1901 census; William was recorded as a widower.
