Margaret Alcorn, daughter of James and Margaret (McDowell) Alcorn, married Samuel Washington Kerr, son of James and Margy (Alcorn) Kerr. Her husband, Samuel Washington Kerr, was the brother of Jane Kerr, who married Margaret's brother, Andrew Alcorn.
