Biography

Mary was a Friend (Quaker)

Mary was the daughter of Thomas Aldam and Ann Stacy. She was born on 29 February (Quaker 12th month) 1671/2 (1672 in modern reckoning).[1]

On 20 April 1693, at her father's house in Warmsworth, Yorkshire, she married John Burgess of Hooton Pagnell, Yorkshire.[2]

Mary died "of old age" on 22 October 1755; she is described in the Quaker death record as of Bush Hill, Edmonton, Middlesex, and she was buried at Winchmoor Hill Quaker burial ground, Middlesex.[3]
