Abigail Alden was born at Cape Elizabeth, Maine, 25 Dec 1777, the daughter of David Alden and Elizabeth Thorndike; d after Jun 1870, when she was enumerated at Milbridge, Maine, in the household of James Mansfield; m (1) c1798, her brother-in-law, the widower David Brown, as his third wife; m (2) at Cape Elizabeth, 22 Dec 1833, James Wallace, as his second wife. ^{[1] [2]}
