Research Notes

I have these sources attached to a free-floater in my private tree (generally means that I am not bloodline related but got the name through someone's assumptions) and kept only "because". I added profile in case the Alden Project people want to consider.

SPELLING of WIFE'S MAIDEN NAME: The spelling of her maiden name has been seen with various spellings and needs to be further substantiated.

FATHER's MIDDLE INITIAL/NAME: Father's middle initial varies on records. On the marriage record for Nathan, his name is shown as Benjamin T Alden; however other records show him as Benjamin Franklin Alden.

SPELLING of MOTHER's GIVEN NAME: On the IL, Deaths and Stillbirths Index, 1916-1947 her name changes from Catherine to Katherine .

A 2ND MARRIAGE IS LIKELY: The name of Nathan's wife at time of death is not the same as the marriage record.
