Rebecca was born about 1817 in North Carolina as stated in the 1850 U.S. Census. [1]

Rebecca's father, John Alderman, Jr. died 10 October,1824, in Duplin County, North Carolina, at the age of 44. [2]

In the 1840 U.S. Census of Duplin County, North Carolina, Rebecca Alderman is head of house. Household includes males 1 under 5, 2 age 5-10, 1 age 10-15, 1 age 15-20; females 1 age 15-20, 1 age 20-30, 2 age 40-50. [3]

Rebecca Alderman and Seaborn R. Brooks were married 28 May 1847 in Marion County, Georgia, USA. [4]

In 16 Dec 1850 US Census for Pike County, Alabama, Rebecca Brooks 33 and husband, Ceberm (Seaborn) B Brooks 38 are in a home with their children, Joseph B 10, Phabba Ann 7, James, Josiah and Mary Brooks. [1]

Death date 19 May 1853 and location are not sourced.
