His wife Alice died in the Coast Hospital on 27 January 1920. They had been living at 334 Botany Road, Alexandria, New South Wales.[7][8][9]
Charles died at his residence of 12 Walter street, Leichhardt, New South Wales on 1 September 1951.[10][11]
