Biography

James was born in 1774. He was the son of Benedict Alderson. He married Elizabeth Russell and had children. In the 1800 census James was in York District, South Carolina.[1] In the 1820 census James was in Gallatin, Sumner, Tennessee, United States.[2]In the 1830 census James was in Wayne, Tennessee.[3]

In the 1840 census James was in Jefferson, Tennessee.[4]James was employed on 14 May 1830 in Waynesboro, Wayne, Tennessee.[5]He passed away in 1840. James's estate was in the probate process in 1802-1846 in Roane, Tennessee, United States.[6]James was in a legal record on 2 February 1831 in Nashville, Tennessee, United States.[7]
