John Wick Gilbert, a bachelor Millwright aged 21 of Banham, married Lucilla Aldis, a spinster aged 21 of New Buckenham at the Parish Church of New Buckenham by Banns on 3 Oct 1849 with the fathers named as Robert Gilbert, a Millwright, and James Aldis, a carpenter.[1]
The death of Lucilla Gilbert was registered in the St Olave's district of Southwark in the 4th quarter of 1856 aged 31.[2] She was buried at Hackney, Victoria Park Cemetery (2 months after her son Alfred) on 14 Oct 1856 aged 32 with her residence given as "Suffolk St Boro".[3]
