Sgt Henry Aldrich served in the United States Civil War. Side: CSA Regiment(s): 32nd Louisiana; Miles' Legion
We are a bit fuzzy on where he was born. Possibly in Louisiana. He was living in East Baton Rouge, Louisiana in 1840.[1]
He was a CSA Quartermaster Sergeant in Co. A, 32nd Regiment, (Butler's Avengers) Orleans Miles' Legion Volunteer Infantry where he fought in the Battle of the Plains.[2]
Research Notes
Henry's wife Cornelia Ann (Ann) Aldrich formerly Hubbs was born about 1819 in Deerford, East Baton Rouge Parish, Louisiana
His son Madison Cornelius (Cornie) "Cornie" Aldrich Sr. was born Feb 1839 in Baton Rouge, East Baton Rouge Parish, Louisiana, USA
Therefore Henry's date of birth should be about 1814 not 1944.
