Moses was born about 1763 at Scituate RI. He was the son of Aaron Aldrich and Abiah Burgess.[1]
Moses Aldrich married Abigail Williams at Scituate 12 Dec 1784.[2]
Moses was enumerated in Scituate RI in 1790, the household consisting of 1 male 16 or older, 1 male under 16, 2 females. [3] He was enumerated there in 1800, although his daughter was reportedly born in Vermont in 1799. The family then consisted of two males and two females under the age of 10, one male and one female aged 10 to 14, and one male and one female between the ages of 26 and 44 (thus, both parents born between 1756 and 1774). [4]
He probably removed to Vermont in the late 1790's. He was enumerated in Lyndon, Caledonia, Vermont in 1810.
He removed to Inverness, Quebec between 1816 and 1819.
Moses died in Inverness 28 Dec 1850 [5] and was buried at Christ Church Cemetery in Inverness Township on 31 Dec. This is now in Saint-Jean-de-Brébeuf,

DNA Connections
It may be possible to confirm family relationships with Moses by comparing test results with other carriers of his Y-chromosome or his mother's mitochondrial DNA.
However, there are no known yDNA or mtDNA test-takers in his direct paternal or maternal line.
It is likely that these autosomal DNA test-takers will share some percentage of DNA with Moses:
I see what you did there, lol. Thank you for correcting the information. The bio for Moses Aldrich is still referencing the wife and children that are attached to this particular Moses Aldrich. Would you like me to remove them from his bio? I'm not familiar with this particular family, so it may be best for you to take a look at what is going on with that profile.
Aldrich-2227 and Aldrich-1448 appear to represent the same person because: same name, exact same spouse on both profiles, Just added marriage and census sources to Aldrich-1448. Pls note FamilySearch shows his birth year as 1763 but there are no sources. same death info on both profiles. Thank you for reviewing. Teresa (WikiTree Arborist)
I rejected it due to the mother and location information. Someone had conflated two people, so there were details for the child of Aldrich-2226 and other details for Aldrich-1448. I am aware of some questionable data for the 1763 date which appears to have come from the age at death. but conflicts with the age of his putative mother. I'm looking into that. I did give Aldrich-2227 a couple more sources.
