Biography

Jesse Orvel Aldrich was born November 3, 1900;^[1] the child of Herbert Cyrus Aldrich and his wife Mary Jane (Chapman) Aldrich.

In 1911 "Jessie" is listed with his family group residing in Langley, Westminster County, British Columbia, Canada. His father: Herbert b. Sept 1855; Mary b. 1862; daughter Ruth b. 1895; sons Syrus b. 1891, Wallace b. 1896, Jessie b. 1901, Earl b. 1904. All born in USA and of Scotch descent.^[2]

On June 24, 1921 at Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada, Jesse married Sadie Cecilia Vedan, daughter of Louis Vedan and his wife Emma Grindes (or Grinder). Sadie was 19, born in about 1903 in Caribou, British Columbia, a domestic, religion is Catholic. Jesse is aged 21, is listed as a lumberman; religion is Methodist, residing at Murrayville, BC.^[3]

Jesse Orval Aldrich died at Shelton, Mason, Washington October 4,1976 at age 76.^[1][4]He was buried at Shelton Memorial Park, Shelton, Mason County, Washington, USA.^[5]
