Biography

Robert was born in 1851 in Penkridge, Staffordshire,^[1][2] and grew up there with his brothers and sisters in the home of his parents, William and Ann.^[3][4] In 1874 Robert married Elizabeth Hiscox in Pelsall, Staffordshire,^[5] and raised a family in the Cannock area of Staffordshire, where Robert worked as a colliery engineman.^[6][7][8][9] Robert died in 1925.^[10]
