In 1871 Henry Aldridge (age 72, Agricultural Labourer) lived at Little Martins Cottage in Waltham St Lawrence with his wife Ann (70), two daughters: Susan (32, Lady's Maid) and Eliza (30, Needlewoman), grandson Harry M A Aldridge (6, Scholar), and granddaughter Anne E Aldridge (2).[4]
Henry's wife passed away in the first quarter of 1880.
Henry Aldridge passed away in 1880, aged 81 years. His death was registered in Cookham, Berkshire [the registration district for Waltham St Lawrence until 1896] in the second quarter of the year.[5]
