George Aldridge was the son of Michael and Lucy Aldridge.
He worked as a Farmer at Port Underwood.
In 1890 he married Emily, the daughter of John Lacey and Catherine Crowley of Koromiko, at the Lacey home on Picton Road.
George and Emily were to have a large family of 13 between 1890 and 1914.
