Mary Dudley Aldridge was born in 1865 to A.D. and Fannie (Dixon) Aldridge. She is listed as Dudley Aldridge (13) in the 1880 census.
She married Thomas V. Noland in 1895,
 and they lived at Sligo, the Noland plantation started by Pearce. Thomas and Mary had four children; the first two were born at Sligo before it burned down in 1899. The family was in Vicksburg by the time the youngest son was born to Mary in 1903. Mary's husband died in 1914, and she died in May 1921. Mary Noland is buried in the Vicksburg City Cemetery.
